ABOUT OUTPACE COACHING
COACHING ATHLETES SINCE 2016
WHO WE ARE
We’re the OPC coaches. Over the past eight years, we’ve helped people on the journey towards accomplishing goals that may have seemed intimidating, impossible, or challenging, at first. We understand that endurance events are just one component within life’s priorities and work with each individual to understand their goal and how we can best support them.
Like many others, we have busy lives with full schedules and multiple priorities, but we love setting goals, training, and learning about ourselves while enjoying the journey — the highs, and the lows, and persevering through obstacles – AND helping others experience the same!
We’ve helped non-runners who said they don’t really like running, cross their first marathon finish line and really enjoy the process!. We’ve helped people face fears of swimming and go on to finish an Ironman triathlon (with a 2.4 mile open water swim!). We’ve helped runners get stronger and faster through other sports such as triathlon and cross country skiing. We’ve helped people see the potential in themselves, and enjoy the process.

TEAM OUTPACE
WE ARE A COMMUNITY OF ATHLETES IN THE MIDWEST
who are united in our passion for endurance sports such as triathlon, running, cross country skiing, and mountain biking.
Athletes include those from all skill levels and experience, ages 18-65+, who either want to challenge themselves, do something new outside their comfort zone, and/or accomplish a lifelong dream or performance level. Some also focus their goals in support or honor of others, or simply enjoy being a part of a team while staying active and appreciating the day-to-day process.

Our coaches have unique backgrounds and strengths, but we all strive to help athletes optimize performance and achieve goals within daily life responsibilities and other priorities.
GOALS LOOK DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE AT DIFFERENT SEASONS AND STAGES OF LIFE
So we work with athletes to define these goals and help work towards them, while also enjoying the journey along the way. Our coaching includes personalized weekly training plans designed to help you train efficiently and effectively towards your goals.

OUR COACHING STRUCTURE
We leverage an online training platform to deliver weekly personalized training plans, regular virtual meetings to check in and discuss progress towards goals, and optional in-person activities and workouts with the team.
Working with an OutPace coach is for anyone who wants to take their training and racing to the next level with a training plan specific to their racing goals, ongoing communication with the coach, race strategizing, analysis/recap, and regular workout feedback/analysis.
We work with ALL ability levels; beginners to elite athletes can benefit from the customized structured plan tailored to their racing goals and schedule. There are many ways to be successful, and we won’t force you into a workout schedule that isn’t maintainable.
