HYROX TRAINING PROGRAM

Hyrox wall balls station at the Hyrox World Championship

Hyrox Training for the Endurance Athlete

Are you ready for a new kind of challenge? Hyrox combines functional strength exercise stations with endurance running for athletes who want to test both strength & endurance.

This event has become more popular across the world, with endurance athletes enjoying this challenge — it’s essentially a running race in disguise! Five miles of running, spread out over 8 x 1K laps, with 8 functional strength stations in between: Ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.

The event can be completed solo, with a partner, or as a relay, in “open” or “pro” weights division.

Coach Anthony, Hyrox World Championship Competitor, has developed Hyrox training programs for endurance athletes looking to try this event or sharpen their strategies for a future one.
